1980 242 GT. A reasonable project.

That's on the list. It drives me crazy too, but maybe that's an indicator of just how much I have to do yet. Eek, time to continue on the sound deadening and insulation.
 
Nice!! Just picked up a 82 242. Got a lot of inspiration.. Nice Job!.. I'm starting my build thread today with some pics. It's not pretty.. Yet!

the exhaust looks pretty cool in that pic, get it up higher? or still thinking of swinging by sunday so i can rehang it quick?

what did you end up doing for carpets?

I went with a used factory 242 rear carpet and a used 240 front carpet.

Impending collision of my 244 and this 242.

...and from the collision, a new coolant bottle was born! Thanks againagain for that.



Update: Just arrived in Denver about 25 minutes ago. Tomorrow we'll head to Salt Lake City.

in all the years I owned that car it never left the state... kinda sad, glad to see some real miles being put on her!
