That is my experience with all other open boxes. Plate them if you want, you can always go back to stock arms.
I might do a test of how much they twist sometime. I need to finish other stuff first.

area of 3" is 2.25x the area of 2". So I would go with the 3" since it should flow more, it's simple, and it will light off eventually. Not ideal for hybrids, but you will have it cooking for longer...

The wilwood brake master is a datsun knockoff, but comes in a 1" size. I think I have a 15/16" from a 280z. The bolt pattern is a wee bit off.

I worked on quite a few as a ford tech from 85 through 89, Then as a gm tech until 92, i think. They can definitely be good transmissions.
