V8 drift car is up to $13,800, but that's for all parts and consumables since ~2015(?)
Fully rebuilt 5.slow with new aluminum heads was ~$2600 for 350+hp and lots of revs.

There are at least 2 different mounting styles, so make sure you get the correct coil bracket for the coils you are ordering.

Those are just LS truck coils, they're cheap new, even cheaper when purchased used.

Many people here have run them, they work very well.

They go on with the flange first, then you rip/cut it off. You'll want to remove the valve cover and #1 cam cap.
I like to get the seal on and mostly aligned before putting the cam cap back on....

I'm pretty sure you just assemble it all, and start torquing the pinion nut.

On diffs with solid pinion spacers, you leave the seal out. There's a much lower rotating torque/drag for those.

B230ft and lh2.4, but use a lh2.2 throttle body and k-jet IAC (optional, but you already have it) to control idle speed and help with cold starts. It’s really about 4 or 5 wires you have to connect....

Neapco solid are the only ones I use in the race cars now. Much better longevity than Spicer joints.

I used a 3/4 MC with a tilton, and it's a bit heavy with a ~5:1 ratio and touchy with a ceramic clutch. I think a 0.700 or 5/8 would be the way to go if your pedal ratio is in the 5:1 area

The higher/longer the first gear ratio...

The higher/longer the first gear ratio (Numerically smaller), the stronger the transmission. This also has to do with the Input shaft gear and cluster/countershaft gear ratios as well.
