Burning the bushings out works equally well. Heat the metal instead of the rubber and once hot enough it will burn itself completely out. Puts on quiet a show as well.

The engine transmission should be parallel with the differential. If you have an iphone with a degree function, find a flat spot on the pinion and transmission and they should read the same angle.

Dude just install the flex sensor and let it set the ratio for you. Without it’s like turning a knob to adjust pwm to the injectors in the fly. Trust us. Install the sensor.
