OK well those are also supposed to be a metal layered gasket. Volvo, Elring, and Reinz are the usual versions I buy. Be sure to install them with the 'UT' mark to the outside. They only go on one way.

The old classic Bosch blue coil works very well. You don't need a ballast resistor for those so it's easier to wire in. There are probably Asian made fakes out there for the Bosch. So beware of that....
