Shoot, if you're decently quick and are starting with a manual car, you should be able to knock out the swap with Tate's setup in 2-3 hours. I know I can have an m46/47 flopped out of a car in 10-15...

yeah, you shouldn't need any sort of pressure plate spacer to make that work...in fact, it might be a little too thin. Unless the spacer which is listed is for the slave cylinder.

so you know what clutch disc you are using? you can't really decide how much of a spacer the pressure plate needs until you know the clutch disc thickness. The 765 is set up for a 10mm thick disc...

boost early only depends on your definition of early and how high you spin it. Tate's car, with the 7670 and 1.03 t4 housing was all in around 4000-4200. Plus, early boost is what breaks ****.
