Mueller makes an adaptor to run the diyautotune hall sensor in place of the Volvo vr sensor. It was a sanity upgrade for me. Zero sync errors and I haven’t looked back. Cheap too.

Burning the bushings out works equally well. Heat the metal instead of the rubber and once hot enough it will burn itself completely out. Puts on quiet a show as well.

The engine transmission should be parallel with the differential. If you have an iphone with a degree function, find a flat spot on the pinion and transmission and they should read the same angle.
