New Guy with Old Car: P1800ES project.

Lots of us here with old English roadsters. My dad has a '57 triumph, and user "theflyingtog" is a miata enthusiast with a bugeye as well as his Volvos

Now that it runs, starting on dash and wiring

The fun game of making a sandblast-damaged car smooth again. Lot of hours beating the roof panel to get rid of oil-can dents. Coulod not have done it without the shrinking disc. Got the panel to within 1/8" at most for filler depth, but never was going to be metal-finished car to start with. Not that it was rusty, just very wavy.

Color will be a dark, non-metallic blue, done in a base-clear paint. Engine compartment was already painted. Shame I had to strip it back to metal because the paint never fully hardened! ?\_(ツ)_/?

Looks better with a bit of chrome to offset the dark blue

And the lights are all working for the most part.
