I need a Gold EZK for make a custom chip and I dont want make a daughterboard of my stock EZK but I want be sure that a EZK 207 work of my 945 b230ft from December 1997.
EZK 148 is: B230FT no EGR
EZK 207 is: B230FT/FK w/EGR for Automatics
Are you trying to use the 148 instead of the 207? I think this will work. 148 will ignore EGR on engine.
Are you trying to use the 207 instead of the 148? This may not work due to 207 trying to control EGR but no EGR on engine.
Maybe members sbabbs or thelostartof can confirm this? You can also get a stock 148 chip for the 207.
I have the 148 of the car (945 b230fK manual and I believe with EGR) and I have find a 207 but after more search I have egaly fin a 209 and a 219 if I good understand the best for me is the 219 but this "****" (lol) box is cost 2x the price from the 207
I need a chipable box because a have a custom chip form classicswede
0 227 400 207 (found in 940 '95-'96 automatic)
0 227 400 219 (found in 940 '95-'96 manual, EGR)
0 227 400 208 (found in late models 960 16v turbo)
0 227 400 147 (more rare, but found in late models 740 16v)
0 227 400 209 (more rare, but found in late 240, EGR)
Doesn't matter if your putting a chip in it. Other then that the EGR one will work even if you don't have egr, just will throw a check engine light is all.
If your asking should you buy a gold 207 so you can put a chip in it, yes do it.
