![]() I would suggest other Photobucket users download all of your photos before they go broke and you no longer have access.

![]() So Photobucket won't cut me off immediately because I paid for the storage in advance, I guess they are trying to avoid a lawsuit from paying customers...
Anyway: ![]() ![]() The heater core leaked, when replacing it I found the blower motor was worn out... Oh well. On the bright side, this showed up. ![]() And a fake light, still looking for the bezel for the other side. ![]() I also got the stock shifter to work, including the reverse lights and neutral safety switch. Still need to finish a bunch of wiring and then find an electric speedometer and try to run it off of megasquirt. Last edited by babbit bearings; 09-02-2017 at 06:13 PM.. |

![]() We had some crappy weather at the house, so my wife decided we should evacuate....
Challenging my rather limited driving ability. ![]() ![]() But it all worked ok, pretty much everyone there drinks lots of beer, so I fit in pretty well. ![]() And thankfully even though we got about 40 inches of rain, the water stopped about 10" below getting into the house. ![]() |

![]() I couldn't find a reasonable price on an electronic speedometer so I gave up and put in a full display using a Pi & tunerstudio
![]() Trimmed the plastic to fit the 10.1 diagonal screen. ![]() Last edited by babbit bearings; 11-11-2017 at 06:15 PM.. |

![]() Only dissappointing setback is the 4l80e pump whines a little too much for me.
Pressures and shifts are perfect, but the whine pisses me off so the transmission is going to have to come out again.... |

![]() It sounds amazing man, we need more videos of it building boost.
Before you take out the tranny again, sometimes its just a clogged filter (though I assume you thought of that). |

![]() What converter are you running? Are you sure the shifter adjustment is dead on?

![]() I do not recall exactly if this cured the whine, but I had the same issue with mine and this helped, my memory is a tad fuzzy as to if this was all I did but im pretty sure it was a combination of this valve and the shifter adjustment. I had that whine on my 80e as well and it was pretty unbearable

![]() I had a front-pump whine on my GM car years ago. My brother-in-law said it sounded like a blower...

![]() 15x10 - 6.75" backspace wheels + 26x8.5 et drag tire + 1.25" thick adapters clears ok on the outside, but the sidewall touches on the coil spring mount on the inside.
Tomorrow I am going to get some 15x7 wheels from an XJ Jeep, they are supposed to be 5.25" backspace and should pull the sidewall in enough to clear everything, maybe without even having to roll the fender lip. ![]() ![]() |

![]() Just FYI. Either the internet lied or jeep people do not know how to use a tape measure... the jeep wheels are 15x7, 5x4.5" Pattern but they are not 5.25" backspace, they are only about 4.75" backspace, so with the adapters, they stick out wider than I would have liked. I am going to have to roll the fender lip, but they should still work, on the bright side, zero chance of rubbing on the inside, and the center caps are easy to convert.

![]() ![]() Finally broke down and bought the missing headlight trim, so it is done. Drove around a bit...suspension is sort of soft compared to my other car and the tune needs some cleaning up but not bad for only a few miles total... The 1-2 shift with the D1 brake and fixed line pressure is a bit harsh even for me... car will definitely be traction limited. Anyway, the fun part is over... probably time to let go... |
