Hi all,

I have a twin scroll exhaust manifold without line to the wategate but I need modify it because I make a external wastegate but I want make only one external wastegate.

I'm not welder if you can me show a maximum of detailed pics that I can show it at the welder is really appreciated.

And how make the good choice for the wastegate and how much boost or power can accepted the stock pistons from s b230fk from 97 ?

My exhaust manifold come from "Sweden Exhaust"

Thanks a lot for your help

the header I have from RSI is a true divided twin scroll but with a single gate. Sorry I am not finding a picture looking down the throat of the flange. Basically the wastegate outlet bridges the two scrolls right at the collector. Not the most ideal configuration I know but my car is still faster than most people's so neener neener I don't care.

No boost creep with this, even at low boost?

not a lick. I've never had less wastegate spring in it than ~13psi but it'll hold it all the way out no problem. True for the HX35 and the 7670. Tial 38mm MVS.

I've thought a lot about a new dual gate manifold with a t4 flange on it, and Tate and I have discussed some plans around it, but I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze considering I already HAVE this.

Damn. That makes me wish I'd stuck with one wastegate on mine.

No no no. You need as many TiAL wastegates as you can fit in there. :oogle:

An MVS is more than sufficient for most redblocks. Ideally, if using one wastegate and a divided manifold, you should separate the wastegate runner all the way to the valve. But I'm in the same boat as Mike. Mine is a single runner starting at the collector and works fine.

Don't worry, my second brand new MV-s got here last week. After boost creep killed my B23, I'm not taking any chances. Although I do plan to block off on of the wastegates sometime to see if it still works. Just because I'm a glutton for punishment.

If you bought the header new from swedenexhaust, how come you didn't add wastegate option? Seems like this would have been the better idea.
