Yes, flip the 3 ton and buy off the shelf 6 ton at WM.

Don?t waste your time and risk your life!
 
I was going to point out a lot of stuff but then saw it's three years old and nothing has happened. In the meantime, everyone who is curious could just stay 8v and get pretty close to what this guy wants with just an 8V head. See the General Leif link in my signature.
