No hate towards autos, but I'm a die hard manual guy myself. I'd rather go slower and shift myself than fast and auto

Same here - I know I'm making the car slower (and in some ways more complicated) with a manual, but I'm OK with that.

Fwiw with the deeworks adapter and autosport engineering forward mount shifter, it puts the cd009 shifter right in the 240 shifter hole. But you're out of your fawkin mind if you think you're gonna put it together for 1500 bucks. You're looking at 2500 or so before you even buy a transmission.

Reason I said that was I found a kit with almost everything here on TB. If it was local it would end up being pretty cheap
