Late 240 headlight protectors

Just picked up some headlight protectors for 86+ 240 headlights, wounding if anyone has info on them as far as who produced them and PN/ documentation. Got some pictures of mounting hardware but any additional information would be nice.

Yeah doesn't seem like somthing the US would get seeing as we where given plastic headlights. Lame, yes but rock resistant
