Need Help Adjusting BOV

89 780 turbo. The BOV is mounted on the head, it has an adjusting screw and lock nut on top of it. Can someone instruct me how to properly adjust it?

I'm not sure what the adjustment even does, and all the manuals say about them is that they are set at the factory and are not suposed to be adjusted.

I'm just going to replace mine with a bosch unit when I get around to it.

call it by its proper name, which is a CBV, since it doesnt work on the same principle as the BOV.......

and why would u want to adjust it?

Ok, I stand corrected on its name.

The lock nut is loose so I assume it may be out of adjustment.

Do all 700 turbos come with a CBV? How would you put a BOV on one of these cars?? probably involved drilling holes?

You can't use a BOV on a car that has an AMM or AFM, it messes with the engines EFI.

Not necessarily. This has been discussed too many times on this board. Doug242ti is running one. He will testify.
