IPD Garage Sale, May 19, 2018

So, hypothetically, if you happen to see an unusually handsome man (similar to the one below) wandering the sale with a good-hearted demeanor but, evidently oblivious of who is who, shake his hand and introduce yourself.

245 ain’t making it. Burned through the paint trying to wet sand out some runs. Not enough time to respray and get it looking right. Man am I learning a lot from this project!

Carl, I’ll meet up with you once I get here. Wife’s dropping me off in the presidential ride.

Very sorry to hear that. You've put in a huge effort.

See ya there.

How far down did you go? If there's still primer, just drive it. Then, before the next meet occurs, get it finished. If I wound up driving my 242 to iPd, I'd be missing paint, too. The whole roof is pretty much primer.

Now what am I going to do for lunch?
Buy a burger at the gate like everybody else.
LAST WE SKIPPED IKEA AND WENT TO PINE STATE ON ALBERTA. IT WAS A MUCH BETTER CHOICE

The evergood hot links were tasty for sure.

^^^^ was a MUCH better option for sure.

Almost got the wagon ready for the trek, gotta make it handle boost on pump, think I've got it handled, plus a revised 91* tune, guess we'll see in a couple days.

Simon...maybe we need a 745 pairing, see how your 13c does against my Garrett, since turbo size doesn't matter, only max bewstsss since all turblows are created equal. lol

Shot single stage urethane and won?t do that again. It?s through to the primer but since I have the rear quarter window out I figured I would leave it out since I?m reshooting it. I?d rather show it off once it?s finished. Last year it looked horrible but I really wanted to go to a show for the first time ever.

Is Volvo?s in the hood happening this year? If so when?

It is. I don't remember the exact day, but it's next month, as is the Leavenworth drive. Plan is to have the 242 driving for either one of those meets.

Just looked on IG. 6/30/18. Leavenworth Drive is a month from tom'w. Might take the 245 on the Leavenworth Drive, then take the 242 to VITH. Who knows, if I can get my parents interested, maybe they'd drive down in the 745 to VITH as well.
