16 valve breather box

Has anyone taken one these out? I am getting ready to do timing belts again and noticed something is leaking oil on drivers side of block. It seems to be coming from the oil seperator box. I read you have to take off intake to pull box out because of the hose, is this true?

Yup. Manifold off. Gear Wrench is your friend.

You should be able to use generic O-rings.

I soaked mine (upside down) in a coffee can filled with mineral spirits for about a week, hosed it out with brake cleaner.

So When I service transmission and take off pan with dip stick tube. I should be able to wiggle out box through the hole that is left?
