242 2.3L Ecoboost 6spd Swap **Picture Heavy**

A+ for sure on this one, sticking with the stock ecu or getting something aftermarket?

Wow!

Another shot of the car in the background with aviation-style riveted panels?

This is my buddy, Nate's 300ZX. It even made it to Jalopnik Build of the Week

This is his shop's site - https://www.misfitautowerks.com/

ELECTRICS Part 1 - I want it to be known that I initially want to use all the parts I got off of the donor for maximum savings, but after 3 weeks of living in my basement de-pinning and tracing and dealing with 3 different communication networks, I decided it was worth my time to get the FPP controls kit. This also came with a bunch of Mustang specific piping that I wish they would have left out and lowered the cost but oh well.

Nice newer battery from the donor is getting setup in the back.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!

A friend offered to come through and paint the engine bay. I should have said no to the extra work I'd have to do, but the price was unbeatable.

*Also, big shout out to my lovely wife for cleaning up 35 years of grime in this engine bay.*

Nice work!

I keep looking at the engine bay of my '78 and think that I really would like to paint it. Then I think of all the things that would need to be done to make it look "good"...
(And mine is fairly clean to start)

So here's the color scheme for the engine bay: GM black and VHT Universal Gold engine enamel

Nice engine mounts. 1/8"? I made mine out of 3/16", but yours look fine with all that bracing. And 1/8" is so much easier to work with.
