940 B230 swap advice needed

Hello

I had a 92 940 with a B200F, took it out and put in a B230F from a 740.

Problem is that it starts for a second and dies immediately, only runs if I constantly spray quick start.

I did not swap over any of the sensors on the head. If my car is lh2.4 but the engine was 2.2, could the temp sensor be the cause?

Yes. The temp sensors are completely different in function even though they have the same connector.
