I've seen a few decades old threads about using spacers on the front swaybar bracket to clear oil pans on swapped cars. I was wounding if anyone still uses this setup and if so any recommendations as far as making them or buying an existing product. Only option I see is buying some aluminum and drilling some holes but If an existing product works why not avoid the hassle.

This is the type of thing i'm thinking of:

And a link to a some summit racing set

Ide ask for thickness recommendations, but it wouldn't hurt to just hold it up and measure myself.

Needs to clear the filter on a whiteblock, just off the rack but no luck with the swaybar

definitely an old ford.

Nah ide perfer it run on 5 cylinders because it's only got 5, not because 3 have low compression:-P

I'll probably get some measurements tonight and look into boxed aluminum as it's gotta be pretty thick, the filter sticks down a a ton.

A small block of steel or aluminum would be super cheap/free to grab from a scrap pile and way better than wood, if you determine the approximate thickness I could probably find something to send your way. The shop I'm currently at has a huge amount of scrap to fab stuff with.

If you have energy suspension sway bar bushings and mounts, you can just use washers to space them where you want them.
My go to is some 1/8” or 1/4” aluminum flat bar.

1" square aluminium stock. Drill two holes, file one corner.

Necessary for non-droop sway and low CoG M5x swap, for example.
