BLT Turbo, did they work together with Volvo or was it an independent tuning company.

Is this expensive for an incomplete kit?

It's for a modified D-Jet ECU that they used to sell.

The locking gas cap is for 140/164 -'73.

Just a warning. All the decent 240-740 parts will be going after First of January. I am in the process of making a picture gallery of it all. It all goes for one price. No shipping. I will post when the pics are ready. 45 years of Volvo wrenching is enough.

That is a nice cap. Just opening it is part of the experience of the older cars. I had a plastic cap on my 242 for a day, went to get gas, and hated opening it.

So that style gas cap also fits early 240s?

No. In '74 140/164's received a revised quarter panel with a gas door and the cap style changed. This is the locking cap for late 140/164 and early 240.

If you believe the InterWebs, then no.

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/volvo/140-series/1971/

108 is not 114.3

I have a different style of metal cap, sorry if my comment was misleading. I just like the old metal gas caps.

Those black mirrors were used on the 242GT to go along with the black trim on the car. Nice find! You could probably also buy them as an accessory.

Very cool! Thought they were for the 242gt but wasn’t sure, got them for a steal then!

I have 3 of those, NOS, it would be pretty expensive to attempt to pry them out of my hands.

near perfect 240 Cibie plastic 86+ headlights and turn signals. They are 2004 replacements that I got of an '87 at the yards.
