91- 940/ -94 960 Grille Slashes/ Emblem - All the same PNs?

Online catalogues don't list the PN for the grilles or the slashes anymore - can anyone confirm the slashes are the same for eggcrate & chrome fall style (with fog/headlamp) grilles?

I bought a new aftermarket eggcrate grille, and it didn't come with the slash. I need to find either a used slash or grille to cannibalize & want to be sure what I'm buying is correct. If anyone has the PN on the slash itself, that would be even better.



Only Emblem listed for 91- 940SE is 1342673

The slashes are not the same for the chrome and eggcrate grill.

The one for the standard chrome grill is still available (p/n 1358488), however the one for the eggcrate is NLA (p/n 3518659)
The only thing still available for the eggcrate grill is the upper black insert on the slash I've found.

I was afraid of that - Looks like I will have to make my own by adapting the chrome grille slash...

I'm pretty sure the difference is that the emblem is not centered on the chrome grill (slightly upwards) and it's in the middle on the eggcrate grill.

The upper slash above the emblem is shorter than the one on the bottom on the chrome trim, while both slashes on the eggcrate are the same length.

They could both very well be the same length overall and they might interchange, but I have no way to check.
Still, the moulding on the eggcrate grill would be in the wrong spot if so.
Not sure if the slashes are the same angle on both though.

Good observation. I looked more closely at a couple of online pics to compare, and I can see as you describe, the slashes are differently offset in their placement relative to the corners of the emblem, and the upper one doesn't ravel as far to the left - I'm used the plastic rivet positions on the top to gauge offset, and a vertical centerline through the emblem.

I may be able to use the chrome slash & cut off the lower/upper slashes, but the upper one will end up short. I'd need two lower slashes to make it work, based on the pics I'm referencing.

Chopped up a spare 850 slash - this will work for me
