012 is a 3" amm

better suited for having larger than 46lb/hr injectors along w/ moves the AMM cut point up a few hundred RPM

Sorry to be a hassle, but what size would that make an 016?

arent ford red tops equal to stock green tops? i would wait untill you up to brown tops or something larger before going with the 012.

i have measured out a 012 today, the 012 ist 34% larger than a 016, therefore you need 424cc/min injectors on a B230FT to match exactly for gasoline or 590cc/min for E85 (smallest for E85 is round about 530cc/min, the rest will be managed from the LH)...

Data:

016

- internal diameter 62.5mm - 2,46"
- external diameter 70mm - 2,75"
- = 30.67cm2

012

- internal diameter 72.5mm - 2,85"
- external diameter 80mm - 3,14"
- = 41.28cm2

That's a increase from round about +34%

Also an addition from someone who knows LH... (that is me btw)...

You are absolutely correct in what you are saying Stoni.

But this is my input:

To run the 012 (and make it mathematically correct) you need to use 436-452cc/min injectors for gasoline.

To run the 012 with E85 you need to use 620-642cc/min injectors. Preferrably up to 764cc/min if you want to really get some power.

But like I said Stoni, you are right in that you can run the B230FT on 590cc/min injectors. On E85 you don“t have to be very exact. Both the octane and cooling properties are better and you can get away with smaller injectors than what is mathematically correct.
