My speedo cuts out right at 90mph too. Trutrac with a sheet metal "wheel" welded on, later aluminum diff cover and sensor, and an '88 speedo.

Run-out and clearance were checked when it was installed, but I haven't done anything to try and fix it yet. Thought the later sensor feeding the earlier cluster might be an issue.

V8's are awesome no doubt but this 2J is soo nice. Most people hear my car start up and don't even realize its not stock. Its so quiet and smooth in this chassis compared to what a V8 would be like. I have been in Kenny's v8 940 and its loud booming V8 roar compared to my Lexus like brick. I am sure both will be similar performance wise at the track so after that its just personal preference.

Installed a new Walbro 450 pump in the tank this weekend.. That was a tight fit but its in and so far works great. Super quiet pump and enough fuel flow for 650whp on e85. My FPR is barely able to keep the base pressure under 50psi so thats fine for now. I wired up the nitrous on the car and did some light testing so far so good. Finally I got some drag slicks mounted up on the back of the car with some minor fender adjustments. Hope to get the car out to the track before the end of the year.

Here is some vid and pics.
