For my 1991 740 turbo..
I guess I'm getting new calipers now, since mine are stuck?
So, is there any slight upgrade that is about the same price, or should I stick with OEM?
And for rotors, cross drilled or no?
I don't have ABS.
grrr i hate 740 brakes

It's that time of year again. Volvo's on the Green will be held on Sunday, June 21 from 12pm 'til you all go home. I know it's Father's Day but what better way to honor dad than with this time honored tradition...
So, theres no speakers in my front stock, and i'm putting some polks in. There is wiring, but it seems to not work. Is it just old and dead somewhere, or is there a different reason it won't work, that you know of?
Well, maybe.
Maybe the tranny is slipping. :-(

It seems to get slower as it goes into boost, once it reaches a good amout of boost on the gauge, it "jolts" and the gauge flings back down into vaccum, the car jolts as if its downshifting, but it goes back....
Also...

or 945's..
I want to oogle at some wagons, and maybe get some ideas for mine.
I'm sure there's been another thread like this, but i'm also sure your cars have gotten nicer!
I'll have pictures of my car later for contribution...its a little lower in the front than before, now.
Thank you for moving this to showroom, and for changing the title? lol
As most of my Oregonian buddies have heard through the grapevine, I took my car into the curb at a lovely 50mph on Monday.
This is outcome:

help :(
As far as i know, it only makes these sounds when its on the ground. Kyle & I couldn't figure out the culprit when the car was on the hoist.
When i'm turning hard to park or U-turn or something, it can make the sound repeatedly like 5-10 times.
The slower, the more knocking and...
I would love to see what my car would look like with eikers or pegasus rims on.

heres my baby.

my radio wouldn't make any sound so i decided to try putting a fuse in the place for the radio/amplifier. it blew and melted the metal connection a little bit. Now whenever I drive the car dash area starts to smell like burnt plastic. I know somethings shorting, i just don't know where to look...
When I put a new fuse in the "Radio Amplifier" fuse spot in the 940SE, it sparks and blows instantly. This is probably a dumb question, but I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it.
If its shorting, what would be shorting?
