1971 142s Heater vent dials wiring

Good morning,

I have a black & white wire attached to a connector coming from the 3 dials on the dash that control the air flow and temperature. I believe these light up when the lights are on so I'm trying to figure out where it plugs into to get power in them.

Anyone know?

IIRC, there is a two pin connector on the back of the instrument cluster.

I've got an old horizontal cluster in the cellar.
I'll take a look.

Yes, it's the only two pin connector on the back of this 1972 145 cluster.
