Broken trip meter button

alright, so let a sibling take the 240 out last night, what do you know, she broke the trip meter reset button. I noticed it was loose, and crooked, seems it broke off from the little black plastic behind it.
now the trip meter's still working in the 1's and tens place, but the 100's place is stuck, and i cannot reset this.

any quick fix tips? replacing the entire cluster is mos def not an option here.

help a brother out.

Pop a 'nother speedo in the cluster broski... Thats the quickest and easiest way.

don't wanna reset the car's mileage. is there anyway to correct this w/o swapping speedos?

Just find a speedo thats close to your mileage?? It's not a big deal at all...

You can also just replace the button itself. Ask around here or you can sometimes pick one up on ebay. That solves your problem.

May have just popped loose inside, may just need to take it out and snap it back into position. Otherwise as said above, you can buy a replacement button, new or used, would be easier than trying to find another correct speedo for your car.

what's involved in changing the switches?
my only experience with the volvo cluster is when i had to take it out to install my dbarton gauge faces.
