Now, I know you probably made this face when you read the title :wtf:, but heres the skinny.

I just bought a 1989 745 Turbo. It has the aw71.

I also have a 1986 744 GLE with an m46. I'd like to put the m46 into the Turbo (I know this is a documented swap, but any links to good threads on it would be much appreciated.)

In doing that, I also need the sedan to be drivable. So the auto will be put into it. I have a general idea of things, but I'd like to know a list of what all needs to be swapped, and what bits of wiring will need to be changed. That is my biggest concern. What wires need to go where.

Physically moving the transmissions between the cars is one thing, knowing what wires go where to make it all work is another. Any help would be much appreciated.

you know everything you need to plug in or unplug to do the M46 in to an auto car?

do the opposite for the AW71 in to the manual car.

That's my guess anyways.
