Front Oil Galley Plug, wth is this?

Left is what the parker store gave me when I asked for a steel, right angle, 1/4" npt to -4an thingy. Right is a -6an to 3/8"npt thingy. Middle is the plug that was in that front oil galley spot below the water pump.

Unless the people at the parker store aren't giving me the right hardware, it clearly isn't 1/4" npt, nevermind the fact that whatever size it is it definitely isn't pipe threaded.

So, since the conventional wisdom, that it is 1/4" npt is clearly wrong, what the hell is it?

It looks like they gave you a 1/8npt. I assure you it's a 1/4npt-4AN 90 that I've used in several +Ts.

Honestly that's what I was thinking, though clearly the plug itself is not pipe threaded, it looks machine threaded. Guess I get to go back again.

I used a 1/4 NPT to 4AN, and a 135? degree fitting to bend it back to the turbo, worked really nice in that cramped area, and kept away from the belts.
