I grind off all rust and placed rust converter:

After that i will apply paint that block rust...

For close the holes, is good if i use fiberglass after paint?
There is other best solution?

Very Thanks!

Bruno.

I buyed similar paint in Italy!

For close the hole, fiberglass is good?

Very Thanks! Bruno.

When you say "fiberglass", you mean a fibreglass filler? That should be fine.

The important thing is that you scrub off the rust as much as possible before using the rust-converter paint. It will convert the oxidised metal to something stable, but it can only penetrate into the oxide to a fairly shallow depth. So if you scrub it all off, you can be sure the rust-converter has stabilised all the rusted metal.

Something like a wire brush is often helpful, for this very early stage of rust-treatment, something like:

Just make sure that, after you have scrubbed, no exposed metal remains; be sure it is all coated, so that no more rust appears due to unpainted metal being exposed to the air.

Hope that is of some assistance!

Use hammer or screwdriver to find out how big the problem is.
Use angle grinder or similar to remove as much of the plate as needed.
Weld in new plate.

Before rust converter i used angle grinder with this:

The more big hole is large 1cm.

Yes with fiberglass i mean fiberglass filler!

I want, if possible, to not weld new plate, because damage i very little.

Very Thanks!

Bruno.

most important is to find how it got rusty, where did the water come from?

it generally comes from around the wiper motor or out of the sills. pull the white plugs from the sill (like the one in your first picture) and clean out all the leaves that collect in them.

for the large hole i would use fiber glass or weld
