My wagon might need viagra???

My 82 b21 a starts up "ok" and she purrs like a 20+ year old cat but if i drive it for 20min or 100km/ph for a few clicks she belly up and dies on me.I can then turn er over and choke it or let it sit for short "power word session"I can get it up for a short while but then she'll go limp??????whats up doc?

chnage your fuel filter and run some supreme and see what happens
fuel filter is mounted in front of driver side on firewall in the engine bay silver can looking thing

Carbs?

K-Jetronic fuel injection?

LH-Jetronic fuel injection?

check the condition of the fuel pump relay aka "green relay" under the instrument cluster, above the drivers left knee. take off the cover and inspect the PCB for broken solder joints. resolder or replace as necessary. very very common failure on older cars, as this relay has been pushing high amperage for the last 25 years.
