hi, it's usually mounted inside the radiator
buy an alu nissens radiator w/ it built in.

Are you asking about an auxiliary transmission cooler? Mines mounted on the front of the radiator with locking tabs, with 1/4" rubber spacers. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

I have a factory volvo one on my 83 244TI police car. I can take some pictures if that is what you are thinking of. It has a thermostat valve and two lines running through the front sheetmetal into the front of the car.
