Rear Diff Leak

Got a massive leak out of the diff cover gasket.

Just wondered if anyone has any unforseen difficulties for me with replacing the gasket before I go diving into it.

Nope. It's pretty straightforward.

Just worked with the same thing. I just tightened down on the cover. Some bolts moved a little. Some not at all.

None more than 1/8 turn.

Check your fluid level. Mine was over a quart low.

You will ruin the rear if there is no oil / low oil level in there


I might have to end up changing it, but for now, no leaks.
