Recaro seats in Late model 740

Got a buddy not on the forums who is looking at upgrading his stock tan ripped seats in his 740 Turbo Wagon to some period correct Recaro seats however he wants to maintain the original seatbelt that come with the seats since it's a 2 tensioner system.

He wants to know if anyone has done this before and what their workarounds have been to be able to maintain the stock seatbelts while still upgrading to a slightly more sporty seat.

I installed a set of Corbeau RRB racing seats in my 740. I ordered mine with the sliders and seat belts. The Corbeau seat belts bolted in the stock location, and functon just like the factory seat belts.
