I just picked up clean 97 850 T-5 wagon in metallic Regent Red, 168,000 miles.
I was really shopping for another 960 wagon, but came across this beauty I couldn't pass up.

The engine runs smooth and turbo pulls great, drives well and has sport suspension, TRACS, transmission is silky smooth and fluid is clean & clear, and came with a lot of nice options, heated seats. It has Columbia wheels, similar to the Perfo wheels I had on the red 97 960 wagon was the first thing I liked about it.
It's a very well maintained car, needing only a few things I could see at this point, strut mounts, a charcoal canister, rear Volvo emblem, one side door trim piece, headlight wiper, radio code, and a remote fob. The interior is in great shape, no cracks in the leather! Whoo-hoo!

Not quite sure what I'll do with it except enjoy the ride for now. Maybe an ECU flash and exhaust, but as-is it's a pretty quick car. Detailing first, stage zero, although it really doesn't need much, but no records to say when it had service, and didn't come with a manual, spare tire, or jack, either.

I know it's WWD, but I still have the 91 245 and 84 244 to keep the RWD bricker's happy.

Anybody got a rear spoiler?

beat me to it^

I have 2 sets of columbas and a spoiler, but might not be parting with them. I'll let you know.

EDIT: I think that's the nicest I've seen one this colour look. Usually they're all clearcoat peel-ey

Those wheels are Columbas, not Perfos.

Looks pretty clean. Nice.

Yeah, I realized that the day I drove it home, subtle differences.....the Columbia's are just as nice.

Thanks, it has really cleaned up nicely. Some new shots, engine bay:

This car is an auction car from an insurance claim, company sold it for $1250. I paid 2x that.
The front drivers side was hit, headlight, fender and the buyer brokered it to a shop who then fixed it, pretty nice paint blend, hood fender, door, but some of the under carriage plastic stuff and the charcoal canister was broken and not replaced. Still have to get the title cleared.

I'm looking at doing the front end, strut mounts and anything else it needs this weekend.

Wow, that thing is clean! The interior is great. Would love to find a decent 855/V70 to have as a daily driver/Home Depot hauler.

Nice score! That's a pretty clean 855.
That interior is minty fresh!
These cars make great daily drivers. I put almost 600 miles a week on my 855T! I love to drive it!
